Well things just got inneresting!
Last week, Florida man Peter Sloan has filed legal docs claiming that he is the long-lost son of William Shatner! In the court papers, the 59-year-old is demanding his alleged famous father take a paternity test to settle the matter once and for all.

According to the suit, the radio DJ is suing the 85-year-old for libel, defamation, torturous interference, and slander, because he’s been publicly denying the personality’s statements.
The supposed son claims that in 1984, he met with the Star Trek alum on the set of T.J. Hooker to discuss paternity.
The papers say:
“The Defendant admitted he was the Plaintiff’s father and invited him to the set the following week.”
When he later tried to call the actor, William apparently got “agitated” and hung up.
Peter alleges a rep then called him back to say that the Canadian celeb was “totally denying paternity at this point,” and that he shouldn’t “go public” with the information because it “could be horrendous for” the star’s career.
In 2009, the Tampa man bought the domain named www.petershatner.com, and a few years later he began a CBS Radio show under the stage name of Peter Shatner.
In 2011, the thespian’s attorney reached out, saying that his client was once again denying paternity, and refusing to take a DNA test.
Last year, his publicist, Cherry Hepburn, also slammed the allegations, saying in a Tampa Tribune article:
“Mr. Shatner has 3 lovely daughters but NO son. This person has fraudulently portrayed himself as Mr. Shatner’s son for years.”
Now, Peter is asking for $170 million in damages from his supposed parent, who he claims had an affair with his biological mother, actress Kathy McNeil.
He also added that he was given up for adoption at five days old.
Peter told Page Six why he’s pursuing this in court, saying:
“I am William Shatner’s son, and I just wish he would acknowledge me.”
He also took to Facebook to share an audio interview in which the star was asked about him. Ch-ch-check it out (below):

William has also somewhat spoken out on social media, pinning a tweet he had written last year:
My children are my life. I have three kids in total; Leslie, Lisabeth & Melanie. They are my reason to get up & live each day to the fullest
