The Reason Winnie Cooper & Her Husband Didn't Live Happily Ever After

If only real life could be as magical as The Wonder Years.
We were heartbroken to hear Danica McKellar, the actress who played the adorable Winnie Cooper, filed for divorce a few weeks ago.
Like so many others, she cited “irreconcilable differences,” but it turns out the REAL reason was that music composer Mike Verta wasn’t bringing home the bacon! A source weighing in on the split said:

“Danica felt that she was doing all the work. She was bringing home the bacon so he could sit around and work on his music. She got tired of carrying more than her fair share of the load ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ especially after having their son, Draco, nearly two years ago. That put a terrible strain on the marriage, and it finally collapsed.”

The economy is tough right now, but everyone needs to figure out a way to provide for their family so we understand where she’s coming from.
We’re sorry to hear things didn’t work out, Winnie. Your real-life Kevin Arnold is out there waiting for you somewhere!
