If there is one thing we never expected Winona Ryder to say, it’s “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!” — because we all know how that turns out!!
If there’s another topic we thought would be taboo, however, it was the 41-year-old thespian’s trouble with the law!
And we were wrong!!
The Black Swan starlet spoke candidly in Interview‘s May issue. She was neither shy about her 2001 shoplifting scandal nor the incidents in her life that led her there!
Winona revealed:
“I was starting to have some trouble before [my shoplifting arrest.] I think a lot of people think that that is what sort of sent me off in another direction, but I was actually starting to have some trouble a few years before. And then there were also a couple of movies that I was going to do, that were all set up, and then, at the last minute, they fell apart…”
Aww! Reality does bite sometimes, but now all that dramz is in the past!!
Winona completed her comeback with Michael Shannon in The Iceman and she was lovely in Frankenweenie, too — the world is her oyster!!
All we require now is the long-awaited sequel to Heathers, LOLz!!
