Investigators need your help!

The New Jersey State Police are reaching out to the public to help solve the horrifying mystery of an unidentified murder victim. The remains of a woman were found in a refrigerator abandoned in Belleplain State Forest in Dennis Township, Cape May County last Sunday, December 22.

Unfortunately they’ve hit a wall in the investigation as they can’t even ID the body. They say she was white or Hispanic and around 5’1″ tall. But that’s it. The remains must have been in horrific shape…

However, cops have some pretty big clues. First and best, they have some unique and intricate tattoos. The NJSP shared a computer recreation of the tattoo designs and placement on Monday: a koi fish on the top right shoulder blade, and a large rose plant on the left side of her body, from her hip up to her chest.

The tattoos are distinctive enough it’s hoped anyone who knew her well — or maybe did her tattoo work — could spot them instantly.

There were a couple other things that might be recognizable. A circular pendant necklace with a star and little dots like a constellation, possibly handmade and unique.

Finally, she was found with a yoga mat. That may not sound helpful, but when you see the design you’ll agree it’s a rather unusual and distinctive design:
