A 65-year-old woman is being held in a detention center in North Carolina after confessing to hanging her nephews pit bull from a tree with an extension cord then setting it on fire!
Here’s the most horrific part…
Miriam Fowler Smith says God told her to do it because the dog, named Diamond, was “a devil dog” after it had chewed her bible.
Ugh! So sad when peoples delusions go to their head at the expense of others.
Her nephew lost his dog and possibly his aunt as she now faces one felony count of ill treatment of animals in general. Although, we can’t see him wanting anything to do with her anytime soon after this.
Police officers made the arrest while the crazy lady Smith was on her way to church on Sunday morning and she told them she feared other children in the neighborhood could be bitten by the animal.
We’d like to encourage any future fanatics to call ANIMAL CONTROL if they feel others may be in danger because of an animal.
This woman is in divine need of psychological help and we hope she gets it before she hurts anything else in the name of God.
