This is SO not cool!
A woman in the U.K. recounted a scary story on Sunday evening about how she somehow received random text messages from a man that she had only spoken to briefly on a train days earlier. WTF?!?!

The Englishwoman, identified by Buzzfeed as a 20-year-old student, reported the text messages quickly felt like they were crossing the line, considering it was so random and invasive as to how a complete stranger could wind up with her phone number (below):
“When I got the text at first I thought it was odd but it didn’t really register how seriously creepy the whole thing was, so I didn’t reply.”
Wow…
Look at this full text exchange that she shared to Twitter, and you’ll get a better idea of what must have been going through her head at the time (below):
So I briefly spoke to someone on the train last week, we didn’t even exchange socials or anything and today he messaged me????
Am I overreacting by being creeped out because what on earth ????????♀️ pic.twitter.com/SCVdZjHsg1— Indlovukazi (@Lyndahx) January 13, 2019

Not surprisingly, she ended up blocking him — as she should have!!
Social media went crazy reacting to it, too (below):

He must have read a book on pick up lines & the “be assertive, women like someone that takes charge” must have stuck. Yeah, block with a quickness

He said “ days to get your number “ as if you should be impressed and thankful by that work ethic

Absolutely tell the police. 1) They may already have stuff on the guy. 2) They may have more safety tips. 3) your home might be included in patrols. 4) it creates a history in case more stuff happens. 5) there might be an actual crime in here that would get their attention.
