Rachel Dolezal -- The Head Of A NAACP Chapter -- Might Be Pretending To Be African-American! Parents Say She's White! Watch The Interview & Read The CRAZY Story HERE!

She knows who she is, she’s a chick playing a chick disguised as another chick…
Rachel Dolezal is a figurehead in the black community in Spokane, Washington.
For years Dolezal has identified with African-American culture and even teaches many classes on African-American culture at Eastern Washington University.

In fact, she’s the head of the local chapter of the NAACP and identified herself as African-American on her application to serve on the citizen police ombudsman commission, a position she got.
Because of this, Dolezal is now facing a city ethics investigation. The Mayor says Spokane is looking into the the possibly falsified information to see if any rules were violated.
But how was she discovered? Well on Wednesday, a reporter from KXLY questioned her in an interview that’s almost too hilarious and ridiculous to be true. The very brief interview went down like this (below):

We’re guessing Rachel walked away to try and pretend the interview didn’t really happen!
Her parents, Ruthanne and Larry Dolezal, who are both caucasian, have since come forward and and said that though their daughter has identified with the African-American culture and had black siblings who were adopted, she is in fact white. Even her Montana birth certificate says that she was born to two Caucasian parents.
Her parents went on to talk about the fact that Rachel was married at one point to a black man, who she later divorced and it was around this time that she started heavily identifying differently and claimed to be the daughter of bi-racial parents. The Dolezals also say that she’s deceiving people and that:

Her effectiveness in the causes of the African-American community would have been so much more viable, and she would have been more effective, if she had just been honest with everybody.

Rachel dismisses these claims, saying that she does not talk to her parents anymore because of some sort of on-going legal issue and that she doesn’t even consider her biological parents to be her real parents.
In a response to the question of whether she misrepresented herself and her racial heritage, she wouldn’t answer directly but said:

“I can understand that. And like I said, it’s more important to me to clarify that to the black community, and with my executive board, than it really is for me to explain it to a community that I quite frankly don’t think understands the definitions of race and ethnicity.”

Well we’re not sure how the investigation will all shape up, but we’re pretty sure that Rachel is the one that doesn’t understand “the definitions of race and ethnicity.”
Though it is so ridiculous, we think what she did is ABSOLUTELY morally reprehensible whether legal action is taken against her or not. Hopefully cases like this will help people realize further that you should accept who you are and not try and pretend to be something or someone you’re not.
