Rachel Papantonakis is putting her breast foot forward for women’s rights!
The mother of two is organizing The Great Nurse-In in order to protest recent intolerance to public breastfeeding.
Such instances include women nursing in courtrooms, government buildings and even a Target store.
She explains her rationale after hearing of these incidents:
It got me thinking… Wouldn’t it be cool to have a nurse-in on the National Mall? Just a bunch of nursing women, their babies, and supporters spending an afternoon on the Mall and nursing when they needed to in order to raise awareness about the law.
Papantonakis wants to draw 500,000 women to the National Mall for August 4th during World Breastfeeding Week.
That’s one million boobies. She planned to call it the Million-Boob-March but didn’t want to confuse people on the pro-nudity Two Million Boob March.
