Fans were so excited to learn that Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones veteran Michelle MacLaren would be directing DC‘s long awaited Wonder Woman movie.
Unfortunately, like Joss Whedon years before her, Michelle has dropped out of the project due to “creative differences” with Warner Bros.
According to word on the street, those differences went right down to the foundation. They reportedly couldn’t even agree on what ERA to set the movie in!

But there’s another rumor floating around at the moment as well.
Marvel is currently looking for a director to helm their first solo female superhero movie Captain Marvel — and Michelle may be the frontrunner!
Now whether this is a legit possibility or just wishful thinking on behalf of fans we have no idea. But it certainly would be inneresting!
