Woody Allen Responds To Ronan Farrow's Explosive Essay About Sexual Abuse Allegations -- Says 'I Have So Moved On'

Yesterday we told you Woody Allen‘s estranged son Ronan Farrow released a poignant essay on the alleged sexual abuse the Oscar-winner inflicted upon his sister, Dylan Farrow.
The Hollywood Reporter column just so happened to be released the same day as Allen’s latest film Caf├â┬⌐ Society premiered at Cannes.
When asked directly about the 28-year-old’s piece by reporters in France, the 80-year-old responded:

“I’ve said everything I have to say about the whole situation in The New York Times. I have so moved on. I never think about it. I work and do my movies.”

He NEVER thinks about it?!

In case you didn’t know, the Times article he is referencing is from back in 2014 where he wrote:

“Of course, I did not molest Dylan.”

As far as why he portrays complicated family relationships in his films, the filmmaker — who infamously married the adopted daughter of his ex-girlfriend and baby momma Mia Farrow, Soon-Yi Previn — said:

“It’s just funny and the reality is that lots of families are complicated. If you think about it Mia would be my mother-in-law. But it’s not intentional that way.”

Eh, we’d say he can certainly relate to the weirdness in his movies!
What are your thoughts, Perezcious readers??
