Wrigley's Suspends Brown's Doublemint Ads

Wrigley’s has all but completely dropped Chris Brown as their spokesman for Doublemint gum, suspending all ad campaigns featuring the singer.

The company did not say if they will drop him all together, but expressed a desire to wait to see how things turn out in his assault case against Rihanna because Brown should be “afforded the same due process as any citizen.”

Their full statement reads:

“Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”

This can’t end well!
