We’re sad to see him go, but we’re just glad he’s going to be OK!
Sting is one of the most iconic wrestlers in the history of the WWE, but unfortunately his reign over the sport has reportedly come to an end.
Fans of the 56-year-old will remember the neck injury he received during September’s WWE Night of Champions match against Seth Rollins, and, as of Thursday, doctors are now saying they do not expect him to recover well enough to continue fighting it out.

While Sting himself has not officially retired from the game, sources close to his team are saying he will make the announcement when he is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this April.
The 25-time champ may not be able to play due to his cervical spinal stenosis, but at least he wasn’t more badly injured.
Maybe he could find a career in movies like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson? Though we’re not sure he could play a CIA agent with that face makeup…
