Just like the feud between X Factor├óΓé¼Γäós Kaci Newton and Paige Thomas in the show├óΓé¼Γäós premiere, even MORE cattiness went on behind the scenes during auditions… or so it seemed!
During last night’s episode, there was a produced rivalry between vocal coach hopeful Tara Simon and Gene Simmons’ daughter, Sophie.
While Sophie was portrayed as the humble, SUPER talented daughter of the KISS frontman, Tara was seen as an overly confident wannabe — though she DID have some pipes.
After Sophie’s audition, Tara was shown backstage (above), dogging on Gene’s daughter for being favored because of her dad, despite her awesome audition.
Now Tara is lashing out at the show’s editors for being “very manipulative” in terms of her portrayal and she is NOT happy about it!
However, it seems Sophie addressed the sitch on Twitter after the show aired, tweeting:
“i dont think @tarasimonsings meant what she said on @XFactorUSA editing can be weird sometimes.├óΓé¼┬¥
Tara then responded:
“girl, they spliced my convo with that girl together and totally twisted what I said. Such crap. Love you girl, youre great!”
She then went on to tweet:
“they painted me in a very poor light. I am not like that. And am still friends with Sophie today.”
The girls both got through to bootcamp, which airs next week, so we’ll just have to wait and see if the supposed feud continues on TV.
Though the editing might’ve been exaggerated, that is no way to talk about the show that spotlighted you, gurl!!
Probably not the smartest move… !
