A 22-year-old Florida man has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of rapper XXXTentacion.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Department said Dedrick D. Williams (above, insert) was arrested around 7 p.m. on Wednesday and booked for first degree murder without premeditation.
Williams was also slapped with a probation violation for a previous grand theft auto charge and not having a valid driver’s license. He is reportedly being held without bond in the Broward County Jail.

According to his arrest records, the suspect has at least 11 felonies. He’s been arrested for cocaine possession, weapons possession, domestic violence, and aggravated assault with a firearm. In 2014, Williams allegedly held a gun to his girlfriend’s head.
As we reported, the 20-year-old rising hip-hop star (real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy) was gunned down Monday afternoon as he left a motorcycle dealership near Fort Lauderdale. Some witnesses reported seeing two masked men flee the scene.
However, authorities believe three people were involved in XXX’s murder, as TMZ reported that there were three arrest warrants signed by a judge. The two remaining suspects have not been taken into custody as of this writing.
