Penn Badgley Is Still CREEPY AF In 'YOU' Season 2 Teaser -- WATCH!

Joe Goldberg is saying so long to New York City and hello to Los Angeles in Netflix‘s latest teaser for You season 2!

But is he saying goodbye to his troubled past, too?

The bookstore manager and part-time stalker played by Penn Badgley opens the chilling minute-long clip (above) with what appears to be a new zip code, a new identity, and apparently — a huge bone to pick with the over-the-top influencer culture in El Lay.

Fans of the show know things didn’t end well for Joe in the Big Apple after his scary relationship with up-and-coming writer Beck, played by Elizabeth Lail, ended in [SPOILER ALERT] tragedy when he brutally murdered her at the end of season one.

In the psychological thriller’s second season, Badgley’s creepy yet charming character now goes by Will and is attempting to put the past behind him with a new city and a new love interest — ironically named Love Quinn.

OMG THIS SHOW IS SO EXTRA AND WE LOVE IT!

However, he’ll also have to figure out a way to deal with the return of his ex-girlfriend Candace, who was revealed to *gasp* still be alive during the finale.

Right out the gate, we’re immediately caught up with Joe as his monologue references the past lets us know we’re in for more dark times ahead:

“You know, love has taken me to some pretty dark places. But Los Angeles has got to be as dark as it gets.”

In conversation with TV Guide, showrunner Sera Gamble also promised viewers will see the troubled character cross even more lines than before:

“At least one scene comes to mind that’s gorier and scarier than anything we had in Season 1. You will know it when you see it. Episode 2 of the season has my single favorite shot that I have been a part of in my entire career. My career is full of blood and gore and monsters. It’s also beautifully shot and the director who shot the second episode lavished a lot of love. Joe is forced to do something he really doesn’t want to do.”

Sounds craaazy!

Fans won’t have to wait very long to see how this juicy clip (above) turns out — check it out on the streaming platform when it drops on December 26.

Are YOU down for a second date with Joe? Er, we mean Will??
