Who would have thought CSI: Miami star, David Caruso would have a stalker?
But apparently that’s just the case.
An Austrian woman is being accused of stalking Caruso and is being sought on an international arrest warrant.
According to officials, the 40-something year-old woman could be hiding in Mexico at the moment.
As for her offense, she allegedly sent more than 100 letters to Caruso and continuously asked him for autographs.
She then started to send death threats when he refused to give her one.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, was charged with stalking and threatening to kill Caruso last year, though she never showed up for her trial in July 2007 and again later in April.
So, now over a year later, judge Guenther Boehler has issued an international warrant for her arrest.
And, according to officials, a letter dated back from 2007 and apparently written by the stalker was found in Caruso’s fan mail with a Miami postmark.
A piece of the letter read, “I will locate you and your ugly Latina tramp and kill you.”
Ok. That’s not funny!
Officials suspect the “Latina tramp” reference was made to actress Alana De La Garza, who used to play Caruso’s wife on the show, until her character was killed.
If found, the stalker can face up to three years in prison.
Though she’ll need a lot longer time in a psych ward.
Bitch is crazy!
