There are two reasons why we’re especially excited for next week’s episode of American Horror Story…
1. It’s the episode right before Halloween, which means it’s bound to be scarier (though how it could get any scarier than it already is is beyond us).
2. More importantly, it’s the episode to debut Zachary Quinto‘s character! Whoohoo!
Zachary, who recently came out of the closet, may be gay, but in Ryan Murphy‘s bloodbath, he gets to be gay AND a ghost. Oooh, fun!
He dishes:
I play a gay ghost. It’s basically my character on So NoTORIous and my character from Heroes mixed into one. I don’t think [playing a gay character will typecast me]. I’ve played gay characters before. I’ve played straight characters before. It hasn’t shaped my relationship to my work and they’ve all been interesting characters.
