Zachary Quinto Talks Star Trek Sequel At The Oscars

You saw the leaked Star Trek sequel set pics, right?
In case you didn’t, one featured Zachary Quinto as Spock using what looked like the Vulcan Nerve Pinch to take down a villain played by Benedict Cumberbatch.
The shot looks pretty intense, but Quinto revealed at the Oscars’ red carpet on Sunday that the cameras weren’t even rolling! Quoting writer and producer Damon Lindelof, the actor told sources:

“The cameras weren’t even rolling so … imagine what it’ll look like when we’re actually doing it.”

That’s one hell of a rehearsal! Clearly, the cast and crew are trying VERY hard to top the quality of the last installment in the franchise.
Quinto continued on to confirm that the still untitled sequel will be “bigger” since it’s being shot in both 3-D and IMAX, explaining:

“We’re doing it in 3-D, we’re doing it in IMAX. It’s definitely bigger, and it requires a different kind of energy. It’s been really challenging, but in the best way.”

As we’ve said before, we can’t WAIT for this blockbuster to hit theaters and hope it exceeds ALL of our grand expectations!
Are U looking forward to watching Captain Kirk and Spock fight the universe’s biggest threat in 3-D?
