What a terrible time to be in a celebrity relationship!
According to sources, Zayn Malik has ended his engagement to Perrie Edwards.
The former One Direction band member reportedly called the Little Mix singer two weeks ago and told her the relationship was over.
An insider said the 22-year-old songstress is “devastated” adding:
“She’s been putting on a brave face as Little Mix have had promotion to do, but she’s obviously devastated.”
The couple got engaged in August 2013 and have dogged several rumors of breakups and infidelity. The British blonde even supported Malik when he infamously left his group.
Although both of them are currently in Los Angeles, they have not seen each other.
A witness said:
“Perrie’s being supported by her bandmates but she’s really in pieces about this.”
On Monday, bandmate Jesy Nelson posted a photo on her Instagram of Edwards sans engagement ring:
