Zelda Williams Pens A Heartbreaking Tribute In Honor Of What Would Have Been Robin Williams' 65th Birthday

The pain is still very fresh for Zelda Williams.
On Thursday, Zelda took to Instagram to share an emotional and touching note in honor of Robin Williams‘ 65th birthday. It’s the second b-day Ms. Williams hasn’t been able to spend with her dad following his tragic suicide in 2014.

While the note was obviously heart-wrenching, the actress’ generous nature also came through when she mentioned all the charities she donated to in honor of Robin’s special day. Throughout his lifetime, R.W. was a big supporter of causes relating to rescue dogs, people with disabilities, and veterans.
As for the pic that accompanied the sad message, it shows the actor laughing with his three kiddos when they were younger. It’s truly a perfect portrayal of the comedian’s infectious spirit and the love he had for his family.

Still not really sure what to do on days like today├óΓé¼┬ª I know I can├óΓé¼Γäót give you a present anymore, but I guess that means I├óΓé¼Γäóll just have to keep giving them in your name instead. This year, I tried to help three causes you cared about in one; rescue dogs, people suffering from disabilities, and our nation├óΓé¼Γäós wounded veterans, so I donated to freedomservicedogs.org. They rescue pups from shelters and train them so that they can be paired with someone in dire need of their help and companionship. So sad.
Despite this tragic situation, it’s comforting to hear that the 26-year-old is handling this loss in a such a healthy way. It’s clear that Zelda is doing the best she can.
