Zooey Deschanel is one funny lady on New Girl, so it’s no surprise that she found the fun in her pregnancy!
The 35-year-old appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and talked about how she and fianc├â┬⌐ Jacob Pechenik didn’t want to know the gender of their baby. The actress said to the host:
“We are going to be surprised. It’s more fun, you know? Make it into a game.”
The star went on to say how she was nervous during her ultrasound because she thought the doctor would accidentally reveal if she was having a boy or girl!

Kimmel shared that he and his wife waited to find out the gender of their baby as well. He joked with the guest:
“That makes me feel like we’re better than other people.”
But Zooey isn’t finding everything about pregnancy easy. She lamented about the restrictive diet that comes with having a bun in the oven!
The hardest thing the actress had to cut down on — coffee! The leading lady admitted she went from having four cups a day to just a half a cup!
