Her Madgesty was announced as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee on Thursday.

Like, duh!

She was a shoe-in. Madonna is the ultimate icon and the most influential woman (or man) in pop music – ever!

The Material Mom was one of five acts chosen for induction at the annual ceremony, to be held March 10th in New York City.

The other artists are: John Mellencamp, The Ventures, Leonard Cohen and The Dave Clark Five.

To be eligible for induction, artists must have issued a first single or album at least 25 years before nomination.

In other words, Madonna is old.

Living legend!

Her music will live forever. And ever. And ever.
