Nice to see she's not above the law.
Nicole Richie flew to Canada, expecting to avoid going to court on Wednesday, when her DUI trial was supposed to start.
Her lawyer went on Tuesday to court asking that the start date be delayed until August.
And she just got denied!!!!
Richie's attorney is expected in court tomorrow morning at 8:30 A.M. to argue why they should postpone the start date. The judge will rule then to delay the trial or not.
Pregnant lady better get on the next plane back to LA. FAST!

Now that's the way to do it, that's what I'm talking about. Not more delays and excuses. Get your ass in court and get things done. If her charge would have happened to any "common" person, that ass would have been dealt with already.

Personally, I think her defense wanted a delay to give her more time to "show" but nope! Thank God there is still some kind of judicial system in this country which is already down the drain with the way people like Richie get emulated.
