Sucks For Scotty

SpaceX, a privately held rocket company founfed by PayPal founder Elon Musk, has just suffered its latest failure.
The company is blaming a design error for its rocket not reaching orbit.
The result was a loss of three government satellites and the ashes of 208 people that were to be released in space.
Among those ashes were the remains of Star Trek actor James “Scotty” Doohan and astronaut Gordon Cooper who set a space endurance record for traveling over 3 million miles in space back in 1965.
The rocket took off Saturday night and separated on its way to space, but after the engine cutoff the rocket fell into the Pacific.
It has yet to be recovered as of today.
This weekend marked the third failure for SpaceX since their initial launch back in 2006, which failed due to a fuel line leak.
The failure this time they say occurred because “there was a short time gap, 1.5 seconds, between engine shutdown and stage separation.”
Scotty’s dreams to rest in peace in space are now shattered!!!
As for a relaunch, SpaceX plans to try again with another rocket as early as next month.
Let’s hope the fourth time is a charm.
