Researchers have uncovered a brand new piece of music handwritten by Mozart. It was uncovered in some little dark room where it had been forgotten about in a library in France.

The sheet of music is incomplete, though, as it is only a blueprint for the melody without any instrumentation or harmonies. But “it is absolutely new” said Ulrich Leisinger, head of research at the International Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, Austria, “We have new music here.”

That’s one pricey piece of paper! If it were to be sold at auction, experts predict it could easily fetch over $100k!
