Billy Mays' Cause Of Death?

Much like Natasha Richardson, the sudden death of infomercial king Billy Mays may have been caused by an accidental knock to the head.
Mays had recently been flying home into Tampa, and while on board his US Airways flight, he hit his head on an object of unknown origin. He conveyed this piece of information to his wife and local Tampa TV station once exiting the plane. That interview, his last ever, can be found here.
Though not determined the cause of death as of yet, it may help explain the sudden passing for the famed Oxiclean man.
Another very sad and tragic loss.

anytime anything hits you on the head hard….please please go get it checked out!
Seatbelts only go on our lap … you can still hit your head on the side of the airplane with seatbelts on… same with some rollercoasters and cars. seatbelts do not necessarily save lives. sometimes, it causes further injuries.
How does buckling your seat belt prevent things from falling on your head?

all these deaths in the last week have been crazy…WTF??? i feel for all these families that are suffering with these deaths. billy seemed like such a happy guy that loved what he did….my prayers are with his family….poor guy. but with the head injury being a possible cause of death, remindss me of natasha richardson's death….
I hear its because he had problems with his hips (he has already had hip surgery before and they were having to do another one, which was scheduled for today) and was on perscription drugs and may have had an accidental overdose. This is just what I heard on Bubba the love sponge this morning.
Perhaps the hit to the head and his death are completely unrelated. Given his girth a heart attack is highly probable.

i live in tampa, not only do i live in tampa but i saw his plane crash land on the runway that night. yes, something perez failed to mention…around 2:30 sat, the planes tires blew as it was landing and from what bill mays and everyone else said, the plane crashed hard into the runway…so much that i remember seeing that plane sit on that runway until 8pm that evening. people on the plane commented about how some of the luggage from the overhead compartments fell and injured some peopl, including bill mays.
ER's will now be filled with people who "bumped their head"

I realize this has already been proven false and everything but seriously… Have any of you flown US Airways? It's one hell of an adrenaline rush.
That sucks, he seemed like a real cool dude, much too early to pass.
Damn.
I hit my head on a flight from Spain to Ireland this time last year and spent half the flight with blood pouring from my head, needed stitches when we got back. Ryanair offered compensation, they were very good to me, but I said no. It frightens me to think that somebody else had a similar accident and died only hours later.
