Steve Carell is not the next Jim Carrey.
The Office star’s latest film, Dan In Real Life, opened with a mild to disappointing $12 million at the U.S. box office this past weekend.
That comes hot on the heels of Carell’s last dud, Bruce Almighty 2.
On the other hand, the latest installment of the Saw franchise, Saw 4, opened to a very healthy $32 million.
