Because mainstream Hollywood has few original ideas….
NBC is developing a spin-off of The Office.
Like Private Practice and Grey’s Anatomy, new characters will be introduced on a special episode of The Office. Unlike that ABC show, however, none of the original Office stars are expected to transition over to the new show.
Spin-offs are cute, but why not attempt a revival or reinterpretation of an old show?
We’d love to see a new Diff’rent Strokes or Facts of Life!
