Britney Does NOT Have The Most Popular Album In America!

This must sting.

Britney got beat by geriatric rockers!

Spears’ new CD, Blackout, expected to sell 350,000 copies in its first week of release in the U.S.

Too bad for her that The Eagles‘ latest album, the double CD Long Road Out Of Eden, is going to sell more than twice as much as Brit Brit. Yup, they are on track to sell 700k+.

AND, what makes that feat especially rare is that The Eagles new album is only available at Wal-Mart retailers.

Luckily for Spears, though, since the California rockers’ new record is being carried by just a single retailer, the disc is not eligible for the new Billboard Album chart. So Britney will likely claim the #1 spot, even though she clearly doesn’t have the most popular album in America.
