President Barack Obama’s second inauguration takes place this Monday and the Prez is kicking off the celebration with events starting on Saturday!

We previously told you that stars like Beyonce, Usher, Alicia Keys and Katy Perry (just to name a few) would be gracing the stage and now Obama’s released a special playlist!

The 17-track playlist is available on Spotify and includes songs like Katy’s Firework, Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder and Alicia’s track, New Day!

We knew Far East Movement could get us feeling so fly Like a G6 but their brilliant new video is hauntingly introspective!

Ch-ch-check out Little Bird, a chill but moody down-tempo track (above) that incorporates beautifully sweet vocals from Feist!!

It's the perfect soundtrack to the lovers' quarrel unfolding before us!

We're starting to think El Lay's own Asian-American quartet can do no wrong!

Ohhh man we were flying SO freaking high like a G6 during our insane One Night in Los Angeles post-VMA event!!

AND, not only did one of our FAVE bands Far East Movement close out the night with a killer performance, but we got to talk backstage to the Movement's KevNish on a variety of juicy topics!

KevNish dished on their recent Rock the Vote experience, the inside (surprising!) deets on touring with LMFAO, the band's bootstrap-esque rise to fame, their love for LA, AND their latest awesome sauce clubby track Turn Up The Love ft. dynamic new band Cover Drive (above)!

SO much love for Far East Movement and ALL the diverse, talented acts who made our night as smooth and special as the most decadent of chocolate truffles!

This was one night you have to SEE to BELIEVE!!!

Whoo! What a night!!

As soon as the VMAs let out, we opened the doors at The Belasco for all the shiny party people in downtown El Lay!!

We were so happy to see the crowd go electric for performers like The Wanted, The Saturdays, Iggy Azalea, IM5, Bella Thorne, Melanie Amaro, Rita Ora, Walk The Moon, and Far East Movement!

And a big THANK YOU to all the DJs who kept the energy alive between sets: Static Revenger, Timbuck2, and The Cataracs!
