Kerry Washington's white lace Giambattista Valli dress has all the hallmarks of a look that is pretty and ladylike.
It was also the appropriate outfit for the Celebrate Sundance Institute Benefit in El Lay on Wednesday night where she presented the Vanguard Award to director Ryan Coogler.
The actress went all the way with the icy white hue, accessorizing with matching Louboutin pumps and a Nancy Gonzalez clutch.
And that side ponytail takes years off her already ageless face!
BRILLZ!

Hilary Swank was most certainly in a celebratory mood at the Life Ball AIDS Charity Gala in Vienna, Austria on Saturday.
The actress got her party on in a short, zebra-print Giambattista Valli frock with gold leaf belt crafted by Luigi Scialanga.
At first glance the outfit seemed a tad young, but, at the same time, its flirty silhouette fit the joyous tone of the fete perfectly.
Plus, we rarely see Hilary embracing her fun and frivolous side!
It's a good look for her!

What a doll!
Kerry Washington has taken a lot of fashion risks lately, but we love that she's still willing to rock a dress an everyday woman could pull off.
Although, who could possibly look as good as Kerry in it?!
The fashionista stepped out in a cream-colored Giambattista Valli dress for the Scandal season 2 finale party looking absolutely precious!
We adore the simplicity, although it wouldn't have hurt her to get those wrinkles out!
No one had a steamer??
If you can get past that goof, this is an almost flawless overall look from head to toe!

Rejoice! The pageant hair is GONE!
Carrie Underwood is sleek and stunning on the cover of Marie Claire's June issue, looking like a Southern belle who spent the last couple of years in New York.
Though still teased and voluminous, the singer's hair is much chicer than usual as she poses behind the wheel of a convertible in a pink and black Michael Kors tube dress.
The inside spread features ethereal, soft-focused shots of the 30-year-old in Giambattista Valli, Burberry Prorsum, and Oscar de la Renta.
And, no, the looks are definitely not a huge departure from signature Carrie style, but they're definitely easy on the eyes!

At last!
Kerry Washington has finally scored her first major fashion magazine cover!
The Scandal star oozes sex appeal on the cover of Elle magazine's June issue in a Marc Jacobs cashmere cardigan and shorts and silver Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture bra.
Inside the mag's pages, Kerry's seduction of the camera continues as she poses in cleavage and belly-baring looks from

It should be illegal to hide a body like that!
Jessica Biel might be trying to take a lot of fashion risks lately, but we're not liking this one.
She tried to rock a black Giambattista Valli dress with fishnet-like leggings for the Met Gala, but sometimes a risk just makes you look a whole lotta blah!
Although what we can see of her body looks bangin' and her simple makeup makes her shine, that whole midsection is just looking like a boring block.
Punk, it is - flattering, it is not.

Is it too early to pick the best dressed woman of the White House Correspondents' Dinner?
Because Katy Perry looked KILLER in a strapless green and gold Giambattista Valli gown with metallic, twig-accented belt at the annual nerd prom.
The singer mostly tamed down her boobage, but we bet it's still going to get tongues wagging (and not just with gossip!) tonight.
KatyKat completed her knockout look with glossy, tumbling waves and a single gold ring.
FLAWLESS!
