What night couldn't be a success when you get to hang with Carnie & Wendy Wilson???
A Night for Jolie was a night unlike any other, and we are SO HAPPY we got to be a part of it! Sponsored by Lupus LA & Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, the evening was filled with music and good spirits — and all for a great cause!
Jolie has been a music coordinator for over 30 years, and in 2008 Jolie was diagnosed with Lupus. She needs our help just like any other person with the devastating diagnosis! With no cure and 5 million people affected throughout the world, it's time to find a way to end this problem!
A portion of all the proceeds from the event are donated to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, too!
We're so glad to have been there! Such a wonderful and uplifting night!!

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:
"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."
That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...
As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
