Though it’d been reported yesterday that Paris Hilton and DJ Afrojack had split, we later found out that those rumors held NO truth!

But don’t think the two have decided to stay together, either — it seems Paris and Afrojack were never even dating in the first place…just BFFs!!!

Paris took to her Twitter yesterday, tweeting:

Aww!

After six long and joyous months, Paris Hilton and Afrojack have decided to call it quits!

Sources are suggesting that the DJ actually pulled the plug on the relationship because things were getting a little too serious a little too fast. A friend of the couple explains:

Oh man, you guys in PA better ready yourselves for a mega musical treat!!

Jay-Z has JUST announced the official line-up for his Philadelphia-based Made In America festival…

AND that he will be joined on his self-proclaimed throne by fellow headliner Pearl Jam!

The Philly party ignites on Labor Day and includes KILLER acts like Calvin Harris, Janelle Monae, Afrojack and Mike Snow, among others.

Unfortunately, no word as to whether President Obama will join Jay on stage…

It’s not like he has anything better to do this year, right?! Ha!

That's right, the DJs took home the Top Hot 100 Song for their Party Rock Anthem, beating out "Rolling in the Deep," "Moves Like Jagger," "E.T.," and "Give Me Everything!"

As Redfoo says: "Dance music is BACK, baby!"

And we couldn't be more thrilled!

While it was reported yesterday that Paris Hilton would be premiering her new single on June 5, it sounds like the heiress has got some other plans!

Although Paris is still working on her second album, she is planning on unveiling another side of her music persona — as a professional DJ!

Hilton will actually be at the Pop Music Festival in Brazil on July 23 to make her DJ debut, not perform her single, After Midnight!

Paris said:

We guess it's finally happening!

Paris Hilton has long been teasing the follow-up to her 2005 musical debut Paris, and now, it appears that the socialite will be releasing her brand new single, After Midnight, On Air with Ryan Seacrest on June 5th, and it will even feature LMFAO!

She reveals:

YEAH!!
