Our absolutey fave musical Danes, Alphabeat, are back!
The Danish pop group's new release, The Spell, is slated to hit record store shelves on October 19th.
Not in America, of course. Sadly the release is just in the UK/Europe.
Alphabeat have reportedly ditched their 80's bubblegum sound for their new album, channeling 90's dance hits reminiscent of Snap! (Rhythm is a Dancer) and Black Box (Everybody, Everybody).
Too amazing for words!
The group holed up in their basement studio for months, tinkering with vintage synths and vinyl samples "to create the perfect pop record."
Our fingers are crossed that the Danes will be picked up for U.S. distribution!!!

We finally got our hands on the Alphabeat album, which is sadly still not available in America, and it is sooooooo good.
Additively delicious!
We can't stop listening to it!
If you have yet to fall in love with the charm of Alphabeat, despite our previous posts on them, then here are three of our favorite songs off the album, which we have yet to mention on the site.
Their music just makes us feel good, kinda like Mika's tunes do too.
This band from Denmark with boy/girll vocalists are just fun and refreshing, like a nice scoop of orange sorbet on a hot day.
Alphabeat have released a new single and video in the U.K., 10,000 Nights, and it is just delightful. It's lo fi. It's cute. We can watch it on repeat and we have!
