Simon Says: Three More X Factor U.S. Contestants Will Get Sony Record Deals

Looks like X Factor US winner Melanie Amaro will be getting some company at Sony Music!

Simon Cowell confirmed that Josh Krajcik, Chris Rene, and Astro will get their own deals in 2012.

Sony Music has a nice thing going with Simon through Sony's co-owned Syco Music. It will be Syco Music that will promote, record, and market anyone that Simon signs, including these three dudes. Indeed, even though Melanie is Simon's priority, he explained to sources that he would "mad" to let the three male contestants go.

As we previously reported, Astro has already hooked up with X Factor UK's Cher Lloyd on one of her tracks and Rene's Young Home will reportedly drop in January 2012. But what's next for these bright stars? Will any other contestants join them?

Who do U want to see from X Factor US make it big?

Watch All The X Factor USA FINAL Solo Performances HERE!!!!

This was the big moment for the final three!!!

After their duets, Josh Krajcik, Melanie Amaro and Chris Rene had to each perform their "Song To Win" on The X Factor. It was their last chance to remind the world and prove to the judges that they deserve to be in this competition and more so, WIN IT!

While we were impressed across the board, the CLEAR winner to us is the powerhouse voice that is Melanie Amaro. That girl has the kind of talent and soul that others could only dream about. We're talking the range of Mariah Carey, the presence of Beyonce and the strive to reach new heights like so many divas before her!

She close the night with what we think will become her signature song, Listen, which when you listen to (above), your heart is gonna swell and soar with pride!

To be fair though, it will be a very close race for Melanie, as both Josh and Chris brought all they had with their performances as well. Josh performed a beautiful rendition of Etta James' At Last and Chris, well, he reminded us how he got into this competition to begin with with his song, Young Homie!

Now THAT's a finale! Check out the fellas' performances AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Watch ALL The X Factor USA Finale Duets HERE!!!

THROWBACK!

Last night's X Factor Finale was pretty cutthroat, with the final three contestants bringing their A-game in hopes of winning enough votes to win the coveted $5 million recording contract and the title of the first winner of The X Factor USA.

The night kicked off with three incredible performances by Melanie, Chris and Josh with some very famous faces. The standout for us was of course our girl Melanie Amaro, who brought a new touch of class and powerhouse sound to R.Kelly's classic, I Believe I Can Fly. It didn't hurt that he was there with her, crooning away so effortlessly, making the performance as seamless as it could be.

However, the night started off with the boys, with Chris Rene taking on Avril Lavigne's start out hit Complicated alongside the punk rock princess and Josh Krajcik meeting rock icon Alanis Morrissette to duet on her hauntingly beautiful song Uninvited!

Check out the jump to see the boy's duets with these mega-superstars. Pretty solid all around, but our choice still has to be Melanie! No question, she is the one to beat! See what we mean AFTER THE JUMP!!!!

Chris Rene Transforms A Beatles Classic Into Hip Hop!

| Filed under: Music MinuteX FactorChris Rene

We wanted to see Chris Rene do something less Posner-like and he delivered!

Chris took The Beatles' Let It Be track and gave it his signature hip hop stylings.

It showed more of the soul and personality he presents during his "I'm sober now!" speeches, and we like that. We like it when the personality bleeds through the performance.

In the middle of his performance, he transitions into the original Young Homie winning the heart of Simon Cowell back.

Like we've said before, we want to hear more of those originals from him! That's what we all love about him!

Check it out!! Press that play button!
