This is terrifying!!
In a residential neighborhood in Glendale, a person spotted a 125-pound mountain lion!
They called the cops and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife responded immediately.
Several wardens responded to the scene, tranquilized the big cat and moved it into the back of a pickup truck.
Mountain lions are common enough in El Lay and luckily, attacks are rare.
Still, that's pretty terrifying to see a giant beast like this just walking around your area!!
The lion is going to be released back into the wild in the mountains of the Angeles national forest.
Thank goodness no one was hurt, including the mountain lion!
Check out the video (above) to see the sleeping giant get carted off!

There are some many wrong and horrible things going on in this photo!
Rick Ross shared a photo on Instagram as he held a baby mountain lion in his lap.

Sad…and very scary!
A year old German Belgian shepherd mix named Cookie was killed by a mountain lion late last night in Glendale, CA.
Karine Tatevossian and her husband woke up to find their pooch dead in their backyard. The bite marks on her body revealed that the cougar tried to drag the dog away as well.
The family notified animal control of Cookie's death and officials came and took her away.
How heartbreaking…no one likes to see a beloved pet die like this.
To help protect your pet, make sure to keep them and their food indoors at night.
Police also warn hill residents to stay wary of mountain lions in the area.
