A diabetic man in Brazil, Indiana had his toes eaten by his dog while he was sleeping!!

He apparently was having a dream where his pet pit bull was licking his toes and when he woke up, his big toe and little toe were both gone!

What?!! That's like a horror story!!

The thing is, it's not exactly as awful as it sounds…

Ew… this is kinda waaay TMI!!

Julie Benz took to twitter recently to announce to the world that one of her dogs has a penis infection!!

GROSS!!!

How the hell does that even happen??

She tweeted:

Tia Mowry loves to be healthy, and she REALLY loves to be compassionate towards animals.

So, of course she partnered with PETA on a new ad (below) promoting veganism!

To kick start the new campaign, the Tia & Tamera star unveiled it in person at PETA's Bob Barker Building yesterday.

There were healthy, vegan sandwiches and salads at the family-friendly event, so people were full of good food as an excited Tia spoke about working with PETA.

Tia said:

"I wanted to become a voice for my community. I wanted to educate my culture about the benefits of becoming vegan. The more you learn about the benefits of being vegan, the more you become alive and the more you become aware of why it's a really great decision. Not only am I helping myself, I'm helping the animals out there, I'm helping the environment—going vegan, I feel great."

Helping the environment, helping animals and getting numerous health benefits…

Is there any reason not to go vegan??

This is soooo sad!!

John Simpson is a Vietnam vet, who is currently saying in a hospice room, dying of pancreatic cancer.

With only days left to live, the worst has happened… his pet chihuahua Mr. Cutie ran away!

The little doggy dug a hole under a fence in Simpson's backyard and escaped.

We previously mentioned that a homeless man was reunited with his lost dog after a Facebook campaign.

Simpson is hoping that a similar thing might happen and his dog might be returned to him.

Sadly, the dog didn't have any tags, just a red collar.

This puppy is only four months old, but he's already had a lot of ups and downs in his life!

Lentil, a French Bulldog, was born with a primary and secondary cleft palate - which means eating for him can be one dangerous activity!

But thanks to his foster owner Lindsay, who set up a Facebook page for Lentil, the money for the surgery he needs has already been raised!

In fact, Lentil made so much money - they're donating the remains of the raised money to animal shelters!

Lentil is undergoing surgery today at the University of Pennsylvania.

Even though Lentil may need more surgery, and it will be a long time before he's completely healthy, we're glad he's taking that first step towards a life without health complications!

A tiger in Tampa Bay, Florida had one heck of a tummy ache… he had a 4-pound hairball in his belly!

Ty, the 17-year-old Tiger, had to undergo an operation after ultrasounds showed he had a basketball sized obstruction in his stomach.

The staff at the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation center realized something was wrong with Ty when he basically refused to eat for two weeks.

The founder of the center said:

There's really no way around it! Dogs tend to eat poop! No matter how cute, cuddly, or all of the above your pooch is, there's a good chance they'll take a trip to brown town at some point!

Earlier, we learned a little bit about how to stop your dog from eating it's own poop, but now we have a little more insight as to WHY they do it!

Here are the top eight reasons dogs indulge in the icky habit:

1. Bad Habits

You know how babies like to chew on things when they're teething? Well puppies go through the same thing! Young dogs tend to learn a lot about the world around them by popping anything and everything in their mouthes, and sometimes that includes poop! Some puppies grow out of this phase, but others might cling to the disgusting habit! The best way to avoid it is to give your doggy lots of toys to chew on as a less-gross alternative!
