Hilary Duff wasn't like a lot of celebrity moms that bend over backwards to get that extra baby weight off as fast as possible — and we're glad she didn't!
While it's certainly up to the individual and where they feel most comfortable in their own skin, we wish it wouldn't be such a dire thing for celebs to immediately bounce back to where they were. It seems like they might miss out on the best early moments because they're stuck in the gym! It's even worse if they're pressured by their industry and job to not relax a little after PUSHING A HUMAN OUT OF THEIR OWN BODIES!

Who says Mother's Day has to be limited to a day or a weekend?? Make it a getaway! Your mom deserves it!
That's exactly what Hilary Duff did, as she's been posting pics and being photographed on a Mother's Day getaway with her son Luca, husband Mike Comrie, sister Haylie Duff (and her boyfriend!), and their mother Susan Duff!

They're having a BLAST, and what better way to show that mom's can be in shape too than to pick somewhere hot and tropical so you can flash that two-piece by the pool!

Hilary Duff is so proud of baby Luca Comrie!
The amazing little guy has already taken his first step and eaten his own food. He's even said his first words! But there's something he hasn't said yet! Hilary says:

Well, at least she does in this new clip from her upcoming guest spot appearance on Two and a Half Men.
Her character gets a little drunky-poo, and well, that's when things start to go downhill in the show's upcoming season finale. In fact, she tries so hard to get the attention of Ashton Kutcher's Walden that she resorts to some real classy sexy timez.

The cutie was spotted with his mommy up in and around Beverly Hills, and we're not sure which of them looked better!
Was it Hilary with her fashionable mommy outfit?
Or Luca with the cool guy hair cut?
We're going to have to think about this one, and debate about it.
We honestly just don't know!
Guess we'll have to look at these pictures a couple hundred more times.

So we couldn't think of anyone we'd rather have take us to our first haircut!
The Lizzie McGuire star was spotted taking her little Luca Comrie to get a cool new 'do on Tuesday.
We're guessing he's going for a mohawk, maybe a pinwheel. Or who knows, we hear the beehive is coming back! LOLz!
JK, we're sure the little guy is going to look just fine with a very straightforward trim!
After all, you can't traumatize someone that young with a failed style experiment! Save that for when he turns 14!

Hilary Duff went on the Today show to talk about, what else, her baby boy Luca!!!
She talked about what she had learned over the past year, and one of the more inneresting things she said was how the mother intuition just kicked in for her during the time she was taking care of her darling son.
So that's how she got so good at being a mommy so fast!!!
We were wondering if she had taken mom steroids or something because she's really good, but nope - she's just naturally a mommy we guess! Ha!
