Earlier we reported that Florence + The Machine will be filling in for Dido at this year's Oscar show.
Now, we're super happy to let U know that our source says Gwyneth Paltrow will also be performing! She'll be doing the song Coming Home from her latest movie Country Strong!
Other performers include cutie Mandy Moore with dashing Zachary Levi, and Randy Newman!
U'll do just fine, bb!
Thoughts on the line up at the Oscars??

We LOVE that she's continuing to take her sound in this direction!
Mandy Moore recently opened up about her still-untitled upcoming album, but revealed that she's currently being influenced a lot by guitar-driven folk music from the '70s.
She explains:
"I'm stuck in the '70s. I think it'll always have that kind of influence. Joni Mitchell, Todd Rundgren, Harry Nilsson, McCartney - that's the sort of stuff I'm really inspired and influenced by. No, it's still too early [for a title]. That always comes at the end for me. I can't go into having a collection of songs and already have a name for it. Gosh, that's [Factory-line pop] where I started as a kid when you don't have any creative input or input at all. That's what ends up happening. It's nice to have the control to make choices now. I'm not necessarily sure what it will sound like but I definitely have enough to write about."
Excellent, bb! That's where your best material comes from!
Your style has come such a long way, and we think that you've really found what works for you! Especially because you rarely hear voices like hers in that genre of music!
We're so excited to hear what you're working on!

Tangled fans may have been disappointed that the film didn't get nominated for Best Animated Feature, but we KNOW they'll be ecstatic to hear this!
Zachary Levi & Mandy Moore are confirmed to be performing a song from Tangled at this year's Oscars.
Should be a great performance, and we'd say they've def got a decent chance at getting Best Original Song.

Understandable, especially given how the last few that she's done have bombed!
Mandy Moore recently revealed that she's no longer interested in starring in light-hearted, romantic comedies, because she doesn't find them fulfilling creatively!
She explains:
"I've had fun doing romantic comedies but I just can't anymore. There's nothing fulfilling creatively, there's nowhere to grow, nothing to learn from it or for yourself. I'd rather just be home with my family or write music until that special project comes my way. It was fun to dip my toe in the water (with musicals in Tangled), but I'd like to do the real thing on the big screen. That'd be so much fun."
Nice!
And we DEFINITELY agree that we'd like to see you in features with a little more substance, bb, especially given how FANTASTIC you are in edgier roles - like in Saved and American Dreamz!
Of course - never say never! You could find a romantic comedy that really works, it's just a matter of quality!
Either way, best of luck!

"I wasn't happy, and I don't think [the record company] was particularly happy.
I wasn't interested in going into the studio and singing about shoes and boys and, you know, dealing with whatever hot producer-of-the-week they wanted to have me work with. People see me as a sweet person and I'd much rather people say that of me than anything else. But it has its limitations.
I'd rather people say, 'Wow, she's an actress and musician' than 'Oh, she does all those cute movies.' I need to challenge myself so people will say, 'Wow, I didn't expect that. Cool."

Excellent!
Mandy Moore recently revealed that she is starting to think about her next record, and, as was the case with her previous work, Amanda Leigh, she would once again like her husband, Ryan Adams, to collaborate with her on some new material!
She explains:
"I don't know about a duet. But I would love to work with him on the next record. I'm sure he'll be involved in some way. We work well together. I'm listening to McCartney right now and a lot of Gram Parsons. My hubby, too. It's hard to ignore that influence in the house."
Nice!
We LOVE how she is constantly trying to develop her sound, and try out new things! She's really taken what started as a pretty paint-by-numbers pop career and made it her own, and we really respect her for that!
Keep up the good work, bb! We're looking forward to what you've got in store for our ears!
