Megan Fox just signed on to star in the screen adaption of a comic book called Fathom.

According to IGN.com:

Created by the late Michael Turner, Fathom follows the aquatic exploits of a beautiful girl named Aspen, brought to dry land on a boat thought to have sunk years ago. With no memories of who she is or where she came from, but with a clear affinity for the water, Aspen becomes an Olympic swimmer, a marine biologist and eventually gets involved in research at a high-tech underwater lab. At the lab, she discovers a mysterious underwater race, and her own water-based powers.

Is it just us or does this sound like a crappy excuse for gratuitous wet t-shirt scenes?

Bring it!!!!!!!

The project has been in production for 7 years now, since James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment bought the rights to the comic.

The script is currently being shopped around for a rewrite to better accommodate Fox.

But we think she'd be better as Wonder Woman, because even the film nerds at IMDB.com haven't said a word about Fathom.

Sounds like it's gonna tank! Hee hee!

We bet Megan Fox wishes she could eat her "Fuck Disney" words.

The Mickey Mouse empire unveiled a bunch of new projects at a flashy showcase at the Kodak Theater on Wednesday.

Besides an impressive clip reel of all of Disney's future releases, the event also featured the cast of High School Musical, Dwayne Johnson, Miley Cyrus, John Travolta, Robin Williams, and a recorded appearance from Adam Sandler.

We hope Miley was behaving! After all, she's still gotta work the Hannah Montana rounds for the Mouse!

The real star, however, was Johnny Depp, who has proved to be Disney's golden boy in the Pirates of the Carribean franchise.

Well, good news for all you Depp lovers! Johnny is coming back for a fourth Pirates installment.

Wasn't that franchise cooked a while ago, though????

In addition to the eccentric eyeliner-wearing pirate, Depp will also be playing Tonto in a film adpation of The Lone Ranger, another Bruckheimer blockbuster.

And, to top it off, Depp is also starring as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, a role that's just too perfect for him!

We can't wait for that one!

Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook also announced a major slate of upcoming 3-D animation films, a format the House of Mouse has competitively dedicated itself to. The sequel to Cars is being pushed forward to coincide with a new attraction at the California Adventure theme park in Anaheim. This is in addition to a new film called Bolt and in the more traditional animaton vein, it was announced that Oprah Winfrey will be voicing a character in The Princess and the Frog.

And these are only a few of the 16 live-action and animated features on Disney's plate.

As we mentioned last week, Megan Fox gave a very revealing interview to GQ about her life, love life, and sex life.

The Transformer hottie made special effort to mention her relationship with females.

The 22 year-old even said, “Well, that year my boyfriend broke up with me, and I decided — oh man, sorry, mommy! — that I was in love with this girl that worked at the (L.A. mammary Mecca) Body Shop. I decided that I was going to get her to love me back, and I went out of my way to create a relationship with this girl, a stripper named Nikita.”

So what's the media to do?

They go and find Momma Fox to get her thoughts on her daughter!

Turns out Megan's mom, 56 year-old Darlene Tonachio, lives in Vero Beach, FL, as a real estate sales agent who specializes in trailer parks. Yes, trailer parks.

She also manages a retirement community near naples.

Two jobs at 56? You'd think Megan made enough money off Transformers and her current deal to film Transformers 2 to help momma out a bit!

So what does her mom have to say?

Tonachio says, “I love my daughter dearly. But Megan is, well, Megan. She’s open and honest. She’s a real person, which is refreshing. I know she has a good sense of humor, and I take this interview in that context."

Ok, is mom delusional or is Megan a liar???

Momma adds, “Is it all true? I don’t know. It’s possible she made it up just like it’s possible that it happened. It doesn’t really matter to me.”

We think it's true!

Wait, then again Megan could have just said all that to turn on the male population even more.

A local journo told Fox's her mom about a rumor that at 16 Megan and some friends went to a strip club in Lake Worth and she gave everyone a show by performing gyrations on the pole, though with her clothes on.

So what did her mom say to that?

She says, “I doubt that she did that while living with us. The poor child was grounded most of her life. She’d be punished for something silly, and she’d mess up again before her grounding period was over. So we’d tack time on.”

But she goes on to say, “As a mom, I look at Megan as my baby girl. It’s hard to believe that other people look at her like in that way [as a sexpot].

Get used to it!

We love this next part even more.

When asked about Megan's love life especially with former actor Brian Austin Green, Momma lies says, “Actually, they’re engaged. They don’t have a wedding date, but I like him. He’s a little bit older, but that brings Megan some stability.”

We think Megan would still be grounded if she lived back at home!

In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Megan Fox goes where few Hollywood starlets dare to:

"Fuck Disney."

That's what she said in defense of our favorite queens of tween, Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens, and their respective photographic scandals, saying that the blame should be directed toward those who betrayed the girls' trust.

Foxy said the girls shouldn't have to apologize for their sexuality, since, after all, "they put them through entertainment school and teach them to sing and dance, and make them wear belly shirts, but they won't allow them to be their own people."

She might just have a point.

Not apologetic for her own seXXXuality, Megan declares her disdain for double standards when it comes to photos of her groping fiance actor Brian Austin Green, saying, "if you have a girlfriend, you grab her butt or whatever" so she just "cups it a little."

She also admits to a fling with a Russian stripper named Nikita her first year in Los Angeles on her own, and talks about how'd she'd get lap dances from Nikita to "get to know her." Foxy Fox liked Nikita because "She was sort of a tough badass, but she’d do these beautiful slow dances to Aerosmith ballads."

We'll give you a second to digest that image, gentlemen (and ladies).

But, sadly, Megan's quick to reassure us that she's not trying to steal Lindsay Lohan's thunder. "Look, I’m not a lesbian—I just think that all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes."

What could possibly make Megan Fox any hotter?

She was recently at Comic-Con in San Diego, admiring Batman sketches and revealing a love for comic books and superhero and fantasy films since childhood. And of the Comic-Con attendees she says, "They're not nerds. They're just passionate." She's even spent all day just watching Austin Green play Gears of War.

So Megan Fox is a hottie who likes comic books, video games, and girls, and possesses "the libido of a 15-year-old boy."

Shocking SHOCKING news!

Shannen Doherty actually has some love for one of her former 90210 co-stars.

She revealed to reporters in NY on Thursday night that she's a Brian Austin Green fan and wishes he could be part of the spinoff:

"Oh gosh, Brian Austin Green! I adore Brian, and Brian and I have always had a really good, strong relationship. The only thing about bringing him to 90210 is that I wouldn't want him not on The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He is so good and it's one of my favorite shows. So I want him back really badly, but at the same time, I love watching that show and I love watching him in it."

Is Megan Fox's man paying Brenda big bucks to say such nice things about him?

Screw Brian Austin Green.
