Last night was such a special evening! Not only were we celebrating our mom Teresita's 56th birthday (still young!), but we surprised her with a last-minute trip to Vegas and then surprised her again by taking her to see one of our childhood idols, the incomparable Gloria Estefan, perform a very special one-off show in Sin City.

The first concert we ever went to was Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine - 25 years ago! - in 1984 at the Dade County Auditorium in Miami.

We remember that show vividly! And, what made that experience so life-changing is that for her encore, Gloria performed her most iconic hit, Conga, and she invited anyone up onstage to do the Conga with her that wanted to. It was one big party, and OF COURSE Perezito - all of 6 years old then - totally ran up on stage and did the Conga with Gloria!

It was one of the most memorable moments of our life and we got to relive it last night!!!!

What a way to celebrate mom's birthday!

SO special!

After the show, we got to introduce mom and the fam to Gloria and Emilio. Those two are royalty in Miami - and for Cuban people worldwide - and we still pinch ourselves every time we see them.

Growing up, Perez always used to think of Gloria as his aunt. The member in the family that "made it big" and was doing us proud! And, now, we know her for real (!!!) and she was able to help us make the birthday of our most important family member one of the most memorable she's ever had!

One of the best things about having a widely-read website is being able to share our thoughts about important issues. From gay rights to health care reform, Perez has spoken out repeatedly about social concerns that matter to him. That's why we jumped at the chance to star in PETA's 'Save the Seals' Celebrity Ad Campaign.

Every year, sealers bash in the skulls of baby seals and hook them in their eyes, cheeks or mouths, then drag them across the ice – sometimes while they are still conscious!

This is disgusting and wrong!!!!

The European Union and the U.S. have banned seal fur. And world leaders as diverse as Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Obama have condemned the massacre of baby seals.

Get with it, Canada!

We had THE BEST time in NYC this weekend!

Amongst the highlights: din din with our east coast bestie (Pia), the opening of Halloween nightclub/theatrical experience Purgatorio (which was soooo rad), and catching up with our old pal John Stamos at Bye Bye Birdie.

That is what Zac Efron will look like in 25 years!

So dreamy!

The world has an amazing way of working. This weekend we went to Disneyland, and it is exactly where we needed to be - we were meant to be there on Saturday.

Nothing can make us smile like that feeling of being a kid again and experiencing the wondrous world of Disney.

It truly was a magical day!

And, making it all that much more special…. it was our first time ever at Disneyland! We've lived in Los Angeles over seven years now, and we had never been!

We got to see all of Disneyland - and California adventure too! It was great to check out all the rides and attractions that they don't have at Disney World in Orlando. And it was really really great that we moved our cheat day to Saturday this week!

Our two favorite highlights: Space Mountain, which we've been told is DEFINITELY better than the one at Disney World - we agree. And we LOVED the Haunted Mansion, which - decked out in a Nightmare Before Christmas theme - seemed like a WHOLE NEW RIDE. It was soooo cool!

We had the bestest best time!

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone at Disney - including Greg Bell and our lovely guide Andrea - and HUGE thanks and hugs to our favoritest uncle, John Stamos (he's on Twitter! @JohnStamos), for the hookup!

Yes, this is our fault for being loyal to the T-Mobile Sidekick and not switching to an iPhone or Blackberry like most of you smart people out there!

For a week now, we have not been able to access the contacts in our cell phone's address book. Literally SEVEN DAYS now - since last Friday!

That is unacceptable!!!!!!!

T-Mobile's service for their Sidekicks went down worldwide a week ago (because Danger, the maker of the phone, royally fucked up) and many many many users STILL have not been able to access their contacts. Since then, T-Mobile's customer service and communication with their customers has SUCKED. It's pathetic, disgusting and insulting!

Not being able to access our emails and phone numbers for AN ENTIRE WEEK has severely affected our ability to work and communicate with our friends and family! For us, our Sidekick has been an integral part of our work life for over four years now. And we're sure a lot of other people out there are in a similar situation.

T-Mobile can thank us all they want for being patient, but THAT'S IT. Patience is over at the one week mark!

How much longer are they going to want/expect us to be patient for??????

As we are heading into the weekend…We need answers! NOW!

Are we getting our address books back or not????????? If so, WHEN?

The makers of the Sidekick, Danger, said people should have access to their contacts by Thursday. That HAS NOT HAPPENED.

What is going on, T-Mobile????? We have been kidnapped by you this whole week! We would have dumped your ass already but we can't even access our address book from your fucking website!!!!!!!

To add insult to injury, the ONLY thing T-Mobile is offering their customers, whom they obviously don't value or respect, is one month of free data service.

That's shit!

One month of free data service (which is not the same thing as one month of free phone use) for SEVEN DAYS of heartache and no access to contacts????

That's fucked!!!!

T-Mobile needs to SERIOUSLY STEP UP and offer something MUCH MORE of value to their customers, however few remain after this debacle. Additionally, they better NOT EVEN THINK of charging a cancellation fee to any Sidekick customers that want to close their accounts.

Enough venting.

We need answers! We need them THIS MORNING!
