We're really trying to control ourselves from writing out 'awwww' with an infinite number of w's here! This is TOO cute, and what a happy ending!
A female California Sea Lion pup was born on April 17th the Oceans of Fun exhibit at the Milwaukee County Zoo Born — her name is
Talise. She weighed of 17 pounds at birth, which is healthy! The only issue is that her mother lacked the skills needed to nurse her, which is sadly common for first time mother Sea Lions!
So the Milwaukee Zoo veterinarian team took it upon themselves to
provide the her with 24 hour care with specially developed formula to serve as a substitute for her mom's milk!
Here's the cool thing: just a week of care, keepers were able to reunite Talise with her mom… who is now nursing like a pro!
Awwww (times a million w's)! What happy story!!

Sea Lion pups must be getting bored with the ocean!
These little pups keep making their way out of the ocean and into beachside neighborhoods.
The little babies tend to get disoriented and need to be rescued.
Luckily, as we've previously
mentioned, Sea World workers come to the scene to bring the pups back to the water.
Sometimes, the Sea Lions will get bored of the land, and make their way back to the ocean on their own.
But usually that's not the case and a rescue is needed.
If you live near the California coast and you see a Sea Lion, don't approach it, but call the cops and let them know a cute little baby animal is in need of some rescuing!
Check out the video (above) to see a little sea lion cutie hanging out far from home.
There are so many good Samaritans out there!
Just like a man in San Diego who stopped to help a lost little doggy on the side of the road.
When he pulled over and opened his back door for the little guy to hop in, he realized it was a cute lil sea lion pup!!
After it messed around in his backseat for a while, he called SeaWorld.
The 8-month-old pup was taken to SeaWorld where it was treated for dehydration.
So glad that this man stopped to help out the poor little guy!

UC Santa Cruz scientists have done the seemingly impossible.
They have taught one of their resident sea lions how to keep the beat to the music.
This is a breakthrough in research because before it was thought that only humans and parrots could keep a beat!
But that is no longer the case, obviously!
Soon we'll be rocking to the new group - the
Beastie Sea Lions! Ha!

We wouldn't mind being rescued TO a five star hotel.
But a sea lion pup named
Max was rescued FROM a five star hotel.
The little guy was malnourished and dehydrated, so Sea World San Diego came to the rescue and saved him!
He's now resting peacefully over there.

This is just awful!!
While at Goff Cove in Laguna Beach, CA a man caught video of a pit bull with its jaws locked on a baby sea lion.
The dog had apparently had the sea lion by the neck for about four minutes before the video started recording.
It's so awful because these women are trying to get this dog off the sea lion but the pit just won't let go.
Eventually a man comes over and yanks the dog off the pup.
The craziest part is that it's Astronaut
Mark Kelly, the husband of former rep Gabrielle Giffords!!
It was his daughter's dog!!
The poor baby sea lion didn't survive the ordeal.
Police said the dog broke from its leash and attacked the animal, and no laws were broken.
Check out the video (above) to see the attack go down, but beware it is GRAPHIC!
Harlem Shake is soooo popular that even animals are doing it!!!
in San Antonio is already as fun as it is, but when you see a walrus, two sea lions and trainers dancing it up, then things just get that much more inneresting. SeaWorld
We always knew our sea friends could do tricks, but never did we think that they could cut a rug!!
Don't believe us?!? Ch-ch-check out the clip (above)!!
