This is heartbreaking.
Bode Miller is one hell of a skier, and has been a big part of our Olympic team. His younger brother, Chelone "Chilly" Miller, also loved the slopes. He preferred to snowboard instead of skiing.
Chelone has passed away due to a seizure, according to the U.S. Snowboarding release.

Now this is how you pass some time!
On Thursday, Justin Bieber was spotted snowboarding in Switzerland's Hoch-Ybrig ski region, and taking into mind that Drake Bell just bashed the singer's writing skills, we're surprised that he was out having some fun.
However, because he knows he has to prove his haters wrong, the Biebz let us know that he can enjoy himself and also werk his butt off.
The 19-year-old sensation tweeted:

For some reason, it feels like Paris Hilton and her boyfriend River Viiperi have been in the mountains skiing for the past year — it seems like every picture we see they're out on the slopes!
Well, these new pics are no different… except that River has been wounded!

Researchers have found that frostbite and hypothermia are not the only dangers for those who exercise, hike and play outdoors in the winter. Surprisingly, there is an increased risk for dehydration! You see, when the weather is cold, unlike hot weather or after sweaty workouts, people do not feel thirsty. How is water from our body lost? Through breathing. We do not sense why water intake may be needed because sweat evaporates beneath clothing in cold, dry air.
Since our bodies are made up of about two thirds water, it only takes a few percent of water loss to become dehydrated. It is interesting to note that our body relies on the sensation of thirst to maintain its fluid balance. The key to be adequately hydrated is to drink plenty of water, especially when outdoors in cold weather. Clear urine is a good indicator which shows you are not at risk of becoming dehydrated.

Oh no! This is seriously awful.
We previously mentioned that Caleb Moore was competing in the Winter X Games when a mistimed flip landed his snowmobile on top of him.
He went to the hospital for a concussion, then it was discovered there was bleeding around his heart.
Another complication with his brain left him in critical condition.
Sadly, he's passed away.
Caleb Moore is the snowmobile star who was just seriously injured at this year's Winter X Games.
We previously mentioned that he mistimed a big air backflip and brought his 450-pound snowmobile down on top of himself!
Originally, it was only thought he had a concussion until he had to be rushed to a nearby hospital for bleeding around his heart.
Sadly, things are even more serious. He is currently in critical condition after a secondary complication involving his brain.
Caleb's grandfather said that the prognosis isn't good. He said it's "almost certain" that Caleb won't recover.
That's so awful! He's only 25.
We hope he makes a miraculous recovery!
Check out the video (above) to see his violent crash at this year's Winter X Games.

This is a big deal, you guys, because nobody has nabbed two national figure skating titles in a row… since Michelle Kwan in 2005!!
Ashley Wagner has just matched that!! She clinched the win in Omaha, and she's so good that she won it in spite of two falls! Daaaamn, girl!
There are a few questions lingering, though:
