How sad!

Pat Summerall was a legendary NFL announcer for many decades, but he died today of cardiac arrest.

After playing as a pro himself for nearly a decade, Pat joined the CBS broadcast team in 1964 and quickly became a legend!

He most famously worked for years in tandem with John Madden — the iconic pair called many memorable football games together!

In a statement, John said:

"Pat was my broadcasting partner for a long time, but more than that he was my friend for all of these years. Pat Summerall is the voice of football and always will be."

Apparently a few burglars decided not to get real jobs and be upstanding citizens or decent human beings, so they broke into Mike Cofer's house and stole two Super Bowl rings. He was watching his son's high school baseball game when the crime happened! Scary shizz!!

O.J. Simpson was sentenced to prison for 33 years on charges of kidnapping and armed robbery back in 2008, but even that didn't stop the former NFL star from throwing a HUGE Super Bowl PAR-TAY! LOLz

According to Simpson's pal, Norman Pardo, it's easy to get a TV in prison as long as you have the dough, he said:

After arriving, Joe turned to his wife Dana and asked:

"Where are all the helmets? Are the jock straps up next?"

To which she said:

"No, honey, I told you this isn't a football game."

Okay, so that probably didn't happen — but really, this doesn't seem like it'd be up his alley at all — but he even met Tommy the day before!!
