We'd say that Nick Cannon is a DEFINITE upgrade!

Before Mariah Carey's love story with Nick began, Mariah was married to Tommy Mottola… and we all know how that worked out.

And now, in his effort to make his book a bestseller, the man who credits himself for Mariah's success has admitted that he was obsessive and controlling with the world famous diva!

During an interview on Today about his book Hitmaker: The Man and His Music, Tommy said:

Usher, The Backstreet Boys, Jane Lynch, Ellen Degeneres, Helen Mirren, and James Franco are just some of the HUGE list of names the Hollywood Chamber’s Board of Directors have approved to be immortalized on the golden paved trash riddled streets of Hollywood in 2013.

Happy news for a happy couple!

Tommy Mottola and his wife, Mexican singer Thalia are now the proud parents of their second child. On Saturday, Thalia gave birth to the pair's first son, Matthew Mottola, the now little bro to the couple's eldest child, daughter Sabrina. A rep for the couple revealed: "All are well and they couldn't be any happier."

Splendid! Congratulations to the family!

The couple are expecting their second child this year! Their first child, Sabrina, was born in 2007!

Not only that, but Tommy is in talks with Simon Cowell for a judging spot on X Factor!

Could be an incredible year for them!!

Bette Midler held her 15th annual Bette Midler's New York Restoration Project's Hulaween at The Waldorf Astoria.

Other guests that dropped by were TV personalities Phil Donahue and Marlo Thomas, the cast of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and latinolicious Thalia and husband Tommy Mottola.

President Barack Obama sat down with one of our absolute faves Gloria Estefan for a special interview to air on Spanish-language network Univision.

LOVES it!

During their conversation for the Nuestra Navidad special, Obama encourages the Hispanic community to get involved with volunteerism and service.

The segment is set to air on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. and the holiday special will feature other Hispanic stars as well, including Thalia!

Mexican pop star, actress and entrepreneur Thalia and her husband, music mogul Tommy Mottola, welcomed their first child on Sunday, PerezHilton.com has learned.

The girl, named Sabrina, weighed in at a very healthy 8 lbs 4 ozs and came into this world after a trying 20 hours in labor.

Mother and daughter are resting comfortably.
