They've been gone for a bit, but The Ting Tings are prepping the release of their sophomore album, out in January, and we caught up with the band in Los Angeles to see what they've been up to and what we could expect from the new music!

The first hosts and musical guests for SNL have just been released.
Charles Barkley and Sigourney Weaver will host the first two new episodes with Alicia Keys and The Ting Tings providing the tunes on their respective nights.
As they begin production on their sophomore album, the Ting Tings will be getting some very influential help!
The British indie band just signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation record label, in which the famed rapper will make their follow-up to We Started Nothing something to talk about!
"Jay is hoping to lend his production skills to some of the new material," dished a source. "The Staccato rhythmic style of The Ting Tings sits well with what he does best, so that was the attraction. Jay can make them one of the biggest British bands in America."
The two members of group, Katie White and Jules de Martino, are thrilled with the deal but reportedly homesick for Britain.
