Really, A Blink-182 Biopic???

blinkwenn2423589.jpg

We think we could do without this little trip down memory lane and apparently, the boys of the band agree!

Brandon Flores, a 24-year-old filmmaker from San Diego, wants to make a flick documenting the early years of his favorite band, Blink-182. The ambitious guy already has a script all penned and an idea for style in mind (think Lords of Dogtown). Now, the only thing left is to get the thumbs up from Blink's management and the boys.

Therein lies the problem!

To date, Brandon and his buddies cannot seem to get in contact with the band. He explained in an interview:

"We've been trying to get in touch with their management, or even the guys in Blink, because we'd like to use their songs in the movie. Or maybe we could even get the guys to do a cameo in the film."

But even without their presence or blessing, Brandon intends to forge forward with the film.

Oh boy. Do we smell a lawsuit coming on? We think we just might!

As a tribute to DJ AM, longtime friend and graffiti artist JoeX2 designed a billboard that was just unveiled over Travis Barker's Famous Stars and Straps store in El Lay.

It reads, "In Loving Memory DJ AM."

He will continue to be missed!

DJ AM's Estate To Sue For Wrongful Death

travisadam__opt.jpg

We're not really sure what to make of this.

DJ AM's estate is suing for wrongful death Clay Lacy Aviation, the company that chartered the plane that crashed in South Carolina carrying both DJ AM and Travis Barker.

Additionally they are suing Goodyear Tire, Learjet and the estates of both pilots who were killed in the crash.

According to the documentation, they're suing for wrongful death because "the crash ultimately caused Adam Goldstein's death."

The lawsuit makes note that Adam was forced to take drugs as a result of not only the burns he suffered from the crash but also to deal with the emotional distress. Adam became incredibly afraid of flying and began to take drugs to calm his nerves whenever he had to fly after the crash.

DJ AM's death was directly caused by a combination of the various prescription drugs and cocaine and in this case they are claiming that the drugs were a result of the crash.

We just don't know.

What do U think about the lawsuit?

Travis Barker Visits Burn Center

travisadam__opt.jpg

On a Blink 182 tour stop in Atlanta, Travis Barker visited the Joseph M. Still Burn Center, who treated his injuries and friend DJ AM after a plane crash last September.

He stopped by with the intention of thanking the doctors that saved his life!!

"I'm here to say 'thank you' to everyone who took care of me after the accident," said Travis. "I was sort of unconscious the last time I was here, and I felt like I owed them a big 'thank you.' "

The drummer met with patients being treated at the center and signed autographs for them!

He even Tweeted his gratitude: "Just leaving the JMS burn center here in GA. Amazing talented people over there, angels is what I like to call them. Wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them. Glad I was able to go by and say thank u. I'll never forget them or what they did for me."

And on top of the sizable donation, it was an especially honorable gesture!

Filed under: DJ A.M. > Travis Barker

wenn5295880.jpg

Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker was more than just a friend to DJ A.M., who passed away Friday of a suspected drug overdose.

The two were also musical collaborators and both survived that deadly airplane crash that killed four people last year.

On Saturday, Barker opened up for the first time about the loss of A.M.

He says:

"Don't know how i am gonna play 2night but i am for AM. My brother is gone.i love u and miss u, i'll never forget all the good times we had.

I'll never forget everything we've been thru and every time i play the drums i'll think of you. U were an amazing friend/DJ/human being.

Rest In Peace my brother, this really fucks me up.

Such a huge loss.

Adam was truly one of those people that NO ONE had anything bad to say about.
