Dianna Responds To Engagement Rumors (Sort Of)

dianna-agron-denies-rumors-she-is-engaged-to-alex-pettyfer.jpg

We're pretty sure she's denying it, but she says a lot of other stuff to, so we're not sure. Girl is great at playing coy, we'll give her that.

Glee star Dianna Agron took to her personal blog today after rumors she was engaged to her I Am Number Four costar Alex Pettyfer have started gaining momentum.

She writes directly to her fans, urging them not to believe everything that they are hearing and to trust her integrity when it comes to her career. She writes:

"I have been getting a lot of questions about things that I don’t feel the need to explain or talk about. I don’t mean it as an insult, I’ve just never shared private details of my personal life to promote my career or a project that I am working on. To me, it feels like cheating. What is the payoff worth when you haven’t taken the fair steps to get there? They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but aren’t those words subject to the eye of the beholder? And who is the viewer to say that their perspective is the right one? Opinions, opinions, opinions….and all of those ‘inside sources’. If you believe to have the facts, show your face and then say what you indeed know to be true! :) "

Well said! We certainly appreciated the part about a picture being worth a thousand words. If we remember correctly, this whole thing started because someone saw her wearing a diamond band on her left ring finger.

Sooo…where's the proof? You mean to tell us an entire press day went by and no one snapped a picture of this wedding band? We sincerely doubt that.

As we've repeatedly mentioned, we think these two are too young to get married anyway, but on the flip side, Dianna seems very mature to us. We like the way she handles herself and the media. Maybe they aren't getting hitched now, but we hope Alex hangs on to her. She sounds like a keeper! (And he's not that bad to look at either!)

For The Last Time, Ricky Gervais Is NOT Hosting Next Year's Golden Globes

ricky-gervais-hosting-globes.jpg

Geez! People love stirring the pot, don't they.

Alright, listen up all of you, because we really don't want to have to say this again. Though rumors have started to spread AGAIN that Ricky Gervais has been asked to return as host for the Golden Globes next year, the truth of the matter is he hasn't and Ricky himself has made it very clear that he hasn't.

But some people are having a bit of trouble reading these days. Someone took this post on his blog as a confirmation that he had, when he was really saying he hadn't! Confused? Let us show you what we mean. This is from a blog post Ricky put up yesterday:

"The TV show organisers said they were happy with everything and asked me to not rule out a third gig. However, it is not entirely up to them. The Hollywood Foreign Press and various other committees need to meet and agree. I have no idea if they want me back again. It depends whether they care about fifty delicate egos in the room or the 200 million people watching at home who want a laugh. Also, even if they did want me back, at the moment I'm pretty sure I shouldn't do it. But I'll tell you this. If they do invite me back and I accept, I'm going to pull exactly the same shit again or even worse.

Once again, everyone has been warned."

Did you read that? Good. Did you read it carefully? Great. Then you see, don't you, that he's saying that NBC, not the HFPA, don't want him to rule out hosting again next year. This was not a formal invitation. Nothing is set in stone. Nothing!

Need it spelled out clearer for you? Not a problem. This comes straight from one of Ricky's reps:

"Ricky is horrified that people think that he had said the HFPA had requested him back. He never said this. He said that the show's organisers, in this case - NBC, called him and said he should not rule out a return for a third time. Ricky at no point mentioned this was the HFPA and called Philip Berk earlier today to explain this to him."

See all the trouble this is causing? Such a mess!

So, to sum up, and hopefully for the last time: Ricky Gervais not hosting next year's Golden Globes.

Can we move on now? Isn't anyone interested in the Oscars???

More From Melissa's Ex, Tammy, On Poor Living Conditions

tammy-lynn-tears-into-ex-melissa-etheridge-on-blog__opt1.jpg

She's blogging up a storm now.

Following her extensive rant against the world who she thought deserved to know her side of the story about her split with Melissa Etheridge, Tammy Lynn Michaels posted another entry yesterday, describing the state of her current living conditions.

Once again, its a pretty lengthly entry, so we'll skip ahead to the part where she describes the condition of her house. As backstory, you should know the both her and her children are very sick this week, so that's added to the dismay of her home life. Tammy writes:

i have had the cold thing for two weeks
and as i cough up green
i am hoping the shades will fade to lemon
and let go of my lungs and we'll be on our merry way

but until then
there's piles of toys (trucks!!!!)
and dolls and crayons
and some towels on the floor
next to my bed from where
one threw up last night
–i'm waiting to see what he has–
i need to empty trash cans
of regurged whatnots and trash
i need to do some laundry
pay some bills
balance the checkbook
make an appointment with the phone company
cuz the 3 pound rat in the garage
ate through the phone wire before we caught it
(god i love my landlords)

and just sort of in general…
get the house in order before the kids
come back home tomorrow….

My god! A 3 pound rat? Disgusting! What kind of hovel is this woman living in? We're disgusted to think about the type of squalor she's forced to endure. Makes us sick.

And this…this is where the mother of Melissa's children is forced to live. We thought you were more considerate than this, BB. Why aren't you helping her out?!

Kim Kardashian Has Something To Say About Teen Pregnancy

kim-kardashian-teen-pregnacy.jpg

She's not for it.

With the rise of Teen Mom's popularity getting a bit of of control, a lot of important people are taking notice and are trying to put more realistic opinions on the topic out there for young women to see.

Kim Kardashian, after reading the a scary story about that Tennessee high school where 90 students were either pregnant or had given birth in the past year, she took to her blog to vent, saying:

"It seems that shows like Teen Mom are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls. The kids from these shows are all over the news, even on the covers of magazines, and have been become almost like celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize! When I think back to when I was 16, there is no way I would even have considered having a baby. That thought wouldn’t even have entered my head. Having a baby is one one of the biggest, and most life-changing decisions a person can make and while I’m not saying that no teen is in the position to raise a child, having a baby so young shouldn’t be seen as the trendy thing to do."

Something to think about, huh Amber Portwood, though we imagine you don't agree.

On her blog, she implores her young, female fans to "think very carefully" before making the choice to be sexually active, adding "talk to your family, friends, teachers, and most of all, be careful."

We second that, whole heartedly.

Melissa Etheridge's Ex Unleashes!

tammy-lynn-tears-into-ex-melissa-etheridge-on-blog.jpg

She's back on the blog… and this is some hardcore shiz!

It's no secret to anyone who has been following along that Tammy Lynn Michaels was completely blindsided by Melissa Etheridge and their breakup last year. For the most part, Melissa has been the only one talking trash about their relationship and if we may say so, pulling some very low punches.

But today, following the news that Melissa has started up a relationship with Nurse Jackie creator Linda Wallem, Tammy took to her blog to unleash a lot of unresolved feelings and divulge some secrets that the public might not even be aware of.

It's pretty long, so let's hit you with the HIGHlights.

First, she recaps her readers on the fact that Melissa made it seem like they were taking a trial separation from one another to work things out when she was actually tossing her out for good:

i moved out november 23rd 2009
she said it would help
i was convinced it would
too and i trusted there was
no one else
i didn't know
there was someone moving in
as i was moving out

indeed

three weeks later a box of new toys
was delivered and her assistant brought
it to my rental house as a mistake
i opened it
and that's when i felt something was up

Then, she goes on to reveal that this was the moment she learned that Melissa was cheating on her with someone else. Though she doesn't outright say Linda was the woman, she hints that after listening to the songs on Melissa's album, she had a feeling she knew who it could be:

and then i listened to the album
and i understood
oh
you don't want to work it out
oh you already have someone in the wings
oh you already have pined for another
oh you are done here

oh i have become another one of your exes

Then she starts to talk about the aftermath of their breakup in which she "begged" Melissa not to let the story break too soon after their split. Tammy writes that she wanted some time to "process my feelings before the public did" and that their "divorce should not be a mass emotional project." But her pleas were ignored and the story "leaked" three weeks before Melissa's last album dropped.

Obviously, this rant that seems much too late has been ignited by two things: time to heal and the report calling Melissa and Linda a "new" couple. Tammy addresses both situations in her poem, saying:

but i have had some time to let it digest, rip my stomach apart,
digest some more, and i think i'm in a better spot now.
sometimes reality takes a moment to settle in. you know, like if
you were standing in the pitch black, and suddenly you threw
on some intense 1500W bulbs around you?? you'd need to quint
and adjust and maybe be blind for a minute? okay. maybe vomit up
your stomach until you have a brand new lining, but hey, who
doesn't do that when their world turns upside down? :-)

so. you know. people magazine tries to get things right. they try to
clean things up for the famous folk- their sources are usually the publicist
for the celebrity. i'm here to clarify. well… i want to clarify without
dealing with getting sued for SLANDER (and paying someone), which would include
me saying that the two were involved while I was living there (it is still my house, by the way).
and i haven't gone just that far yet.

since april of 09? mmm…. one of my little sweet peas told me otherwise much
earlier than that, Pooper magazine.

they should have shut the bedroom door.

She goes on for much longer, explaining that she loves her kids and despite everything, they still come first and then casting blame on Melissa for all the pain that has befallen their family.

But this was the one line that stood out for us the most: "speak true, spread the peace, and have faith that we all walk the talk. "

Now, we hope she really lives up to that.

More Trouble In The Skies For Kevin Smith

kevin-smith-airplane-problem-virgin-america.jpg

Poor guy! At least this debacle ended a bit better for him.

Director Kevin Smith doesn't seem to have much luck flying on planes. Due to his size, celebrity and his infamous feud with Southwest, special arrangements have to made for him in order to travel. Yesterday, Kevin was slated on a Virgin America flight back stateside with his wife and Jason Mewes, but according to his blog, it wasn't a pleasant trip.

Kevin explains on his blog that in an effort to board the plane discreetly and efficiently, he used a concierge service to handle his travel plans, a recommendation made to him by bestie Ben Affleck. His agent held off having Kevin and his wife board their flight until all the other passengers had already taken their seats. With almost 10 minutes to spare, the couple made their way to the runway, which is where all the trouble for Kevin began. He explains:

We pleaded with Manny (the unfriendly face of Virgin America JFK working the gate), pointing out the remaining time (there were still 8 minutes before scheduled departure), and pointing out that the jetway was still attached to the plane. Flying as much as I do (usually up at the front of the plane), I know that the jetway only gets pulled back ONCE THE PLANE DOOR IS SECURELY CLOSED. As we tried to get Manny to realize our bags were under the plane and we'd been checked in for an hour, the jetway stayed in place. The plane wouldn't pull back from the gate for another 15 minutes (if you want, I can show you the picture we took of the jetway still attached, with Mewes' phone displaying the time in the foreground; yes, I took that picture; sadly, that's the world we live in now)…

Manny was joined by Erwin, who identified himself as the person in charge. I pointed out - EXTREMELY calmly - that we’d checked in an hour prior and that our bags were on the plane. He said it didn’t matter, as we weren’t at the gate when they shut the door. We told him we were with sight of the gate and that Manny could’ve held the door – particularly because departure wasn’t for another nearly ten minutes at that point. He said he’d called for us over the p.a. system, but my wife’s name is SCHWALBACH - you say a name THAT distinctive over a loudspeaker, at least two people in an airport are gonna turn their heads: me & Jen Schwalbach. And, the fact that we were going through security mere yards from the actual gate, and we’d heard the last call announcement for the previous San Francisco flight… well, without calling anybody a liar, it’s just REALLY hard to believe that p.a. call was actually made. I didn’t hear my name over the loudspeaker. Jennifer Schwalbach didn’t hear her name. Jason Mewes didn’t hear his name. Dorothy, the concierge service lady, didn’t hear any of our names. Four independent sets of ears, mere yards from the origin point of the alleged p.a. call failed to hear the call; what are the chances we’re all stone cold deaf?

But like I said: I’ve been through it with an airline before. I knew this was a losing battle-for-reason; I’ve dealt with petty, per-hour tyrants who abuse their authority and assume nobody further up the corporate ladder is ever gonna hear about how they represented their employers in the worst possible light. Sometimes, y’all put folks up front who give your company a bad name. Keeping me off my flight even though I was checked in an hour prior and my baggage was already on board isn’t even the big slap in the face though; that came next.

I told them, in a VERY polite manner, that I didn’t care about making the plane (even though it meant we’d be missing our kid’s first basketball game at school – a fact I didn’t share with them because if Manny and Erwin couldn’t give a fuck about me, their customer, what chance did Harley have of finding any compassion); all I cared about was my wife’s luggage…

Which was under the plane…

And contained her medication.

She needed to take it eight hours from her last dosage. Rather than put it in her carry-on, she put it in her bag that went under the plane. Since we were gonna be home in six hours, what did it matter? But now? In a world where the next flight wouldn’t get us to our bags/her medication for NINE hours, naturally, I was concerned with getting our bags off the plane.

But Erwin said that wasn’t possible. So did Manny. They didn’t even TRY to call someone about getting the bags off. “They can’t do that,” was all I got. Dorothy, the concierge, said in her 27 years working with all the airlines, she’d never seen anything like it.

And still, the plane sat right there at the, jetway still attached. Our bags could’ve EASILY been removed in the time that the jet remained parked at the gate (or we could’ve been permitted to board). And even though I CALMLY explained three times that my wife would need her medication based on the delay they were creating, neither Manny nor Erwin would do anything to help about the bags - or getting us on a plane we were booked on/had tickets for/were in the terminal an hour ahead of schedule to take.

That just…sucks. There are no other words for it. Sounds like he did everything right and as politely as possible, but that these people were extraordinarily uncooperative and unyielding.

The good news is that when the higher ups of Virgin America got wind of this, they immediately contacted Kevin and offered their apologies, along with a full refund and a free flight.

We're sure it doesn't make up for the extreme inconvenience they all had to endure, but it sure is a hell of a lot more than he got from Southwest!

Eric Roberts Vs. Kate Gosselin

eric roberts accuses kate gosselin of child abuse

It seems Eric Roberts has a bone to pick with Kate Gosselin!

The actor took to his Twitter to speak out about the mother of eight and the alleged harm she inflicts on her children.

Roberts Tweeted:

“I know she's fading from the news, but hopefully someone's still got their eye on the wellbeing[sic] of her kids. Kate Gosselin is a child abuser."

Wowsa! He continued hating on the reality star while posting on the blog Small Town Gosselins.

Eric wrote:

“Thank goodness there is footage of Gosselin hitting her kids, and apparently feeling fine about it. I say thank goodness, because behind closed doors makes it that much tougher to stop.

They have an awful mother, and a father who doesn't stop her. The number of kids Kate and Jon have are the reason Kate and John have money. It would be awful if financial stress was added to those kids' problems. But the money should be divided 10 ways.

Kids are not fully willing participants in anything during childhood. I think Jon is being unrealistic [about stopping filming]. How is that family going to live?

The kids could have a great time doing the show if their mom wasn't a cruel horror who is clearly repeating generational abuse. Jon's got his eye on the wrong ball. The kids, however, should not be forced to do anything.

Get out of denial and receive anger management… Next time she feels herself lifting a hand to harm one of her children, she should instead make a call to her local 12-step program. She's playing the role of good mom. When she stops playing the role as it's written, she should be fired.”

It seems a little harsh! Your response, Kate?!

As MTV announced that The City will not be coming back for another season, the show's star Whitney Port took to her blog to discuss the news.

She writes:

Hi lovies,

As I'm sure some of you have heard, The City will not be back for another season. It's always sad when one major chapter in your life comes to a close, but for me, this is the beginning of an entirely new one. I loved filming The City. It was just such an adventure and I'm so grateful for every opportunity it gave me.

I'm so excited for whatever is next for me. There are definitely a few things in the works, but right now I'm primarily focusing on my clothing line Whitney Eve. After all, it is my baby. I'm just so happy to be back home, I can finally spend unlimited time with those I love.

I want to thank you all for your continued support, you have no idea how much you mean to me. I'll be keeping you up to speed on everything going on in my life right here on my blog.

I love you guys!!!!
