A new study found that there's a compound in cruciferous veggies like broccoli that might be able to fight cancer!

In the lab, the compound was able to kill leukemia cells!!

That's absolutely ahmayzing!

The compound, sulforaphane, was incubated with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and it made the cancer cells die.

Nutrition To Deal With Depression

If you're worried you may be depressed, it may be time to make some dietary changes. Nutritional therapy practitioner and FitPerez correspondent Margaux J. Rathbun believes vitamin B is the key to happiness, writing:

Depression is a condition that affects many people around the world. From feeling constantly fatigued to having severe headaches, the symptoms of depression can really affect the way people think, act, and feel. Fortunately, changes in our diet can help us feel better. Be sure that you are eating foods rich in B vitamins, like whole grains and leafy green vegetables.

I like to include happiness/healing-promoting foods that include watercress, black beans, broccoli, and spinach in my diet. These foods will help improve nerve function and give you a natural boost of energy. Also be sure to include plenty of good fats in your diet from foods like avocados, nuts, chia seeds from The Chia Co, flax seeds, Barlean’s cold-pressed organic coconut oil, and olives. Some herbs that can aid in mood-boosting include skullcap, St. John’s Wort, lemon balm, and chamomile. Avoid eating artificial foods full of additives as this can make you feel worse. Fresh is best!
