Uh oh.
ShoeDazzle.com, the subscription shoe site co-founded by Kim Kardashian, is pulling the plug on their UK sister site less than 4 months after it launched.
The reason? To focus on opportunities in the US where business is actually doing well.
UK fans of the site will be happy to know everything's on sale for 50% off until January 31st, which will be the last day to place orders.
Happy shopping!

This is no way to end the year.
Sears Holdings Corp. announced this week they plan to close 100-120 Sears and Kmart stores after less than impressive holiday sales.
Maybe they shouldn't have shelled out all that money for the Kardashian Kollection.

If you planned on visiting Chicago to pick up an Oprah souvenir before the show goes off the air you don't have much time.
By mid-June all the Oprah Stores, kiosks and online shop will be gone for good.
The good news in all of this? Each location is has already started marking things on sale!
It may not be Oprah's Favorite Things, but at least it's something.

More bad news Saks Fifth Avenue.
After shutting down both the Portland and San Diego locations in May, the luxury department store has decided to close the Saks in Southampton as well as their Off 5TH in Reno.
Saks CEO Steve Sadove explained:
Store closing decisions are difficult ones to make, but the planned closing of these two locations is consistent with our strategy of deploying our resources in productive stores and closing underperforming stores, when feasible.
Wonder which stores are next???

Bad news for American Eagle.
The company is set to close 50 to 100 stores over the new few years.
Currently they have 934 stores open. And that’s after closing 20 of their stores already over the past year.
Turns out their latest earnings report show a loss of 66%.
Ouch!
And to cut loses, they’re also planning on closing its Martin + Osa division.
While American Eagle is hoping that closing those stores will increase their profits, many will soon be out of their jobs.
Are U an American Eagle shopper? Let's hope they don't close a store near U.

It's been a rough year for Abercrombie & Fitch.
After being infested with bedbugs and cutting prices to keep up with competitors the preppy retailer will be closing 60 stores by the end of the year and 50 more by 2012.
Abercrombie said the majority of the closures are due to expired leases, but we're sure having crappy sales didn't help either.
